Yoga helps improve body alignment. The postures strengthen the core muscles in the torso, especially those that support the spine. Yoga is a perfect complement to any sports training. A dedicated practice helps free the body of physical constraints, enhancing athletic performance and ability.

ABOUT ÉMILIEN BADOUX

A native of Switzerland and the canton of Valais, Émilien started skiing when he was 4 years old. "The Valais is magnificent and the mountains are so vast it would take a lifetime to discover them” he says. He started participating in the Freeride World Tour in 2011 and has always remained amongst the top 5.

Émilien practices yoga and meditation to stay centered. Yoga allowed him to manage both physical and mental pressure during the Freeride World Tour finals in Verbier. His actual knowledge of yoga comes from 16 years of self-practice and from his Hata Yoga and Asthanga Yoga teacher training in Mysore, India.
